Beloved and devoted husband of the late Ida (nee Natale) Carbone of Sudbury. Loving and devoted father of Aldo (wife Vanda) of Sudbury, Raffelina Sagriff (husband Larry) of Calgary and Corrine (friend Rob) of Toronto. Cherished Nonno of Ryan, Melissa, Mark and Stephen. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Maria Raffaela (nee Sicilia) Carbone, brother Carmine and sister Assunta both of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by brothers Francesco ( wife late Maria) and Pasquale (wife Elena) both of Toronto, brother Carlo (wife Carmelina) and sister Ida Parise (husband Giuseppe) both of Italy. He will also be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews. Enrico was born in Cosenza, Italy. He served in the Italian Army from 1942 to 1945 as a Cavaliere della Patria. He immigrated to Canada in 1951. He and his wife made their home in Gatchell where they raised their three children. Enrico appreciated the simple things in life, a beautiful sunny day, spending time in his garden, a glass of homemade wine. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humour and the positive energy that brought life to any gathering with family and friends. He was known as a great 48 player, bocce player, bowler and was an active lifelong member of the Caruso Club. A lovable character with a smile for everyone, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
