85 years
Passed away Tuesday, June 21st, 2016 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.

Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Couture) (predeceased) and Patricia (nee Thorpe) Roberts of Sudbury. Loving father of Janet McCourt (Dale), Louise Mazalin (Steve), Kathy Labrie (Richard) and Doug (friend Nicole). Cherished grandfather of Derek, Clayton and Andrew and great granddaughter Victoria. Dear son of George and Melina (nee Halfyard) Roberts both predeceased. Dear brother of Bertha Lamberton, Robert “Bob” predeceased (wife Evelyn) and Ray predeceased (wife Marie). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Robbie worked as a guard and recreational officer at the Burwash Jail, he retired as a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force as well as INCO having worked at the refinery and smelter. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Bishops Scholars Assembly and member of the 3rd degree Centennial Council #6074. The family would like to thank the PSW’s and nursing staff on the 2nd Floor of Extendicare Falconbridge.
At Gerald’s request there will be no visitation or service.
Cremation with interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
