I had Mr Bacon as a math teacher (at Lo-Ellen Park) many years ago as well as a high school counsellor to discover my destined career/academic path. I was never really good at math (and in this case calculus), but he made learning easy and fun. he cared much about his students and he created a positive learning environment. no question was too silly and he strived to ensure that you understood the content. I enjoyed attending his class especially since he was always smiling and laughing. he had a way of igniting a love of math and a love of life. My deepest condolences. he will be sorely missed.
