Beloved husband of Paulette (Villeneuve) Smith. Loving father of Angela and Erin. Cherished grandfather of Milla. Loving son of Stanley and Claire (Rivais) Smith. Dear brother of Susan Quinlan (Clark), Gordon Smith (Karen) and Darren Smith (Deane). Sadly missed by inlaws, nieces, nephews and all who knew and loved him.

Marvin was born in Coniston. He married Paulette (Villeneuve) in 1971. He was a proud employee of the Ministry of Natural Resources, retiring as area supervisor. A devout Roman Catholic, he attended St. Pius X Church and he was a devoted 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Marvin was loved and respected by all who met him: family, friends, hunting and fishing buddies. The family encourages everyone to be an organ donor in memory of Marvin.

Cremation with interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
