During my time as a physiotherapist at Villa Marconi, on numerous occasions I crossed paths with Rose. We were required to assess clients. She always emphasized that she didn't need us but was always willing to participate.
I watched her interact with staff and fellow residents and could easily observe the mutual love and it always amazed me to witness the staff ( many of who were not drawn into extra endeavors ) as they went " above and beyond " to be with her. She had a way with people- a magnetic charm , showing that vulnerable yet capable side. It made me aware that her home must have been such a refuge for everyone and how she would make everyone feel welcome and even looking at her room there did exactly that for all . And was a testament to " a life well lived ".
With sincere sympathy
