Condolence: Terri & Family: Growing up your mother Rose and father Robert meant so much to me. While they were my parents Harold and Bea’s friends, they were as much family to me as any blood relative. Photographs of my first birthday party show may parents, Peter, your parents and you. So many memories come to mind of times spent with your family. Rose was always a source of guidance and encouragement for me over the years. While the years and geographic distance separated us, I have always held the memories of Rose and Robert close to my heart. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts at this time. Condolence: During my time as a physiotherapist at Villa Marconi, on numerous occasions I crossed paths with Rose. We were required to assess clients. She always emphasized that she didn't need us but was always willing to participate.
I watched her interact with staff and fellow residents and could easily observe the mutual love and it always amazed me to witness the staff ( many of who were not drawn into extra endeavors ) as they went " above and beyond " to be with her. She had a way with people- a magnetic charm , showing that vulnerable yet capable side. It made me aware that her home must have been such a refuge for everyone and how she would make everyone feel welcome and even looking at her room there did exactly that for all . And was a testament to " a life well lived ".
