Beloved husband of Rita (Chellew) Reid. Loving father of Cathy (Denis Lefebvre), Monica (Robert Wylie), Diane (Phil Barbeau), Norm (Jane) and Lorraine (Grant Healey). Cherished grandfather of Ian (Amanda), Kyle, Mathieu (Amelie), Taylor, Peyton, Owen, Lindsay and James and great grandson Cameron. Dear brother of Leo (Lou) both predeceased, Doreen predeceased (John Bourchier of Alberta), Ken (Joan) both predeceased, Irma (Clarence Worms predeceased) of Florida, William Burns predeceased (Joan of Bracebridge), Patrick Beaudry (Claire) of Valley East, Gerald Kervin predeceased (Leona of North Bay), Rodney Burns (Ginette) of Tyson Lake, Carol Ann (Ron Jacobs) of Tennessee, Raymond Burns predeceased (Jane of North Bay), John Burns (Candy), Steve Burns (Diane) and Paul Burns all of Powassan. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Powassan, he married Rita in Sudbury in 1957. Harvey worked at the INCO Refinery for 32 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club. A man of faith, he was active at St. Clements, Our Lady of Hope and St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Harvey was a skilled wood worker and a true “Mr. Fixit”. He had a wonderful sense of humour and a devotion to his family.
