1928- 2014
Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Extendicare Falconbridge Wednesday, November 19th, 2014.

Predeceased by her husband Roy Duke, and daughter Susan, and brother Bill, sisters Shirley and Dorothy all predeceased. Survived by her sister Betty Lebarr (Lloyd) of Bracebridge, sons Stephen Duke (Jackie) of Garson and Scott Duke (Janet) of Naughton. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Lauri, Christopher and Drew and great grandmother of Addison, Owen, Ethan and Spencer and step grandmother of Adam and Rebecca.

Marguerite was an original member of TOPS Club of Garson, she worked at the Garson Pinto and was known around Garson as “Nana Duke” to many families. She helped out with childcare and was an avid hockey fan of her sons and grandsons.

Special thanks to all staff at Extendicare Falconbridge for the excellent care and friendship Mom received, and also to the Dupuis daughters for taking her under their wings.

As per Marguerite’s request there will be no service or visitation.
Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment in the family plot at St. John’s Cemetery.
Donations to Trinity United Church, Garson would be appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, Sudbury.
