Obituary for Joseph Pellerin
Joseph Pellerin died peacefully with his loved ones by his bedside on May 4, 2023. He was 83 years old.
Beloved husband of 64 years to Carmen (Paquette). Loving father to Claude, Gilles (Khamenie), Willow (Herne), Moe (Jenn) and Ron (Linda). Grandfather to Joey, Matt, Jaxon, Angelica, Jonathan, Saralynn, Joel, and Mackayla. Great Grandfather of 6. Brother to Leonel, Marcel, Louise (Claude) and Denis.
Brother-in-law to Olivette, Ghislaine, Michel, Norman, Solange, Louisette and Berangere. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Adjutor Pellerin and Therese Desmarais. His siblings Marie Jeanne (Ron), Jacques (Gervaise), Francois (Linda) and Michel. His in laws Roger, Fern, Jocelyne, and Mariette.
Joseph was a very proud, hardworking man who was loved by so many. With his natural happy attitude, he made friends quite easily. His passion for ballroom dancing kept him and Carmen young and active. His artistic skills came out in his paintings, pottery, and carvings. He painted several beautiful pieces and carved countless number of birds. He always believed that you are never too old to learn. He proved this by going back to college at the age of 53 and took up weaving just a few years before he was diagnosed with dementia.
A big thank you to the staff at Villa St Gabriel for the wonderful care and support they gave Joe and his family for the last 2 years, especially towards the last few very stressful days of his life. Joe was an incredible Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We love you Dad. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
