It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Chaput on April 20, 2023, losing his battle with heart disease. He is predeceased by his parents Omer and Jeannine Chaput and is fondly remembered by his brother Denis.

A devoted husband of 43 years wife Anne. So loved by his children Christopher, Robert (Tyla). Was proud to be a father-in-law and a great Popa to his granddaughter Rosa, who was the Apple of his eye.

He will be sadly missed by his extended family Jocelyne and Ken Roy, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was a passionate fishermen and loved spending time on Manitoulin lsland. “Un bon petit commencement”.

He will be missed by his angler crew Rocky, Andy, Norm, Denis, Herby, and Dave.

"To all of those that think of me. Be happy as I go out to sea. lf others wonder why l'm missin’. Just tell 'em Ray and I have gone fishin’ and we'll become the masters of the sea."

Following his wishes, there will be no visitation, a family Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
