We are saddened to announce the passing of
Patrick Gerald Boyle (Bumpy)
July 20th, 1938– March 7th, 2023
&
Pauline Margaret Boyle (Meme)
November 23rd, 1938- March 17th, 2023
They shared a story like no other.
Pat & Pauline were married on March 3rd, 1962 and spent the next 61 years living life unapologetically to the fullest. Pat was a charmer, Pauline a force and together they shared love, generosity and friendship with everyone they met.
As a pair, they created and successfully ran Northern Canvas, raised an abundance of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and still always found time to explore their interests. Whether it be at their favourite places, Bolder Island and River Valley, or across the globe on a foreign adventure, they were sure to enjoy life. Pat and Pauline always cherished their time with family and friends and could never resist a party. Those who had the fortune of knowing the pair knew that they could always be counted on if you ever found yourself “stuck between a rock and a hard place.”
They will be deeply missed by so many.
Together they have left us to join their beloved grandson, Joseph Flavin, who died on March 12th, 2017.
Survived are their children, Sean (Pauline) Boyle, Brenda Boyle (Patrick Flavin), Carl (Louise) Lee; their grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) Sarrazin, Cassandra (Chad) Plouffe, Kieran Flavin, Sean Flavin; and their great-grandchildren Isabella Sarrazin, Bentley Sarrazin, Nora Plouffe, and Thea Plouffe, who will forever hold onto their love and memories.
We are grateful to those who treated Meme and Bumpy with the respect, dignity and compassion they so deserved.
Honoring their wishes, there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
