In Loving Memory of Rick Simpson
who after a long and painful fight with cancer, Rick sadly left us on Sunday, March 19 2023.
Beloved husband and best friend of Linda Simpson (nee (Zlahtic). Loving and caring father to Tiffany Dupuis (husband Julien) and Kayla Desormeaux. Will be sadly missed and always remembered by brother Donald Lampron, sister Annemarie Melo, and very special cousin Kim Lodwick. Very proud Grandpa to Stephen Rathwell, Emma and Sara Zlahtic, Julien Jr. Dupuis, Violet Doyle and Lincoln Doyle, and soon to come Great Granddaughter Penelope Rathwell-Berube. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Flo Laviolette. Will be greatly missed by many aunts and uncles. Daisy and Jake will be meeting him at the Rainbow Bridge, and Maggie will cuddle his favourite sweater until she’s with him again.
Rick had a free spirit and made friends everywhere he went. His kind and generous nature provided comfort and relief at any time to anyone who he felt was in need. He will always be remembered by many, many friends, who always knew they could drop in at any time and Rick would have an open home and an open heart.
