Obituary for David Vincent Sisk

In loving memory of David Vincent Sisk 54 years. It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, son and brother on Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

Cherished husband and best friend of 30 years to his beautiful wife Nancy (nee Michaud). Proud and devoted father of his son Brendan, and daughters Naomi, Ella, and Emily. Dear Son of Vincent predeceased and Helen Sisk, and son-in-law of Edith Pratte. Brother of Shelley (Rob) and brother-in-law of Julie (Cédrik). He will be sadly missed by his niece Hannah, nephew Nathan, many cousins, family, friends, and colleagues.

David was born in North Bay on July 16th. 1968. He worked as a manager with Gap Canada for the past 20 years, working at Old Navy, Gap and then Banana Republic. He enjoyed life, and always had a knack for turning even the smallest events into a celebration. “It was not a party, until Dad came home.” David loved music and sports, especially skiing, camping and he always looked forward to sitting and having a beer by the fire.

David had been especially passionate about ski cross, cheering on his daughters team at provincial events and on his last day, the Canadian Ski Cross team at the World Cup. For this reason, we have chosen the Live Like Miki Memorial Foundation as our charity of choice, for those wishing to make a donation in his memory in lieu of flowers.

Friends may gather at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch Street, Sudbury) to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 1-4 pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. For donations or messages of condolence www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.

Always missed – forever loved.
