Obituary for Lucille Szalai (Mullin)
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lucille Szalai announces her passing on Friday, March 3, 2023. Lucille passed peacefully at Health Sciences North, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 58.
Lucille was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend who enjoyed volunteering, camping, baking, crafting, and spending time having fun with her girl friends.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Martin Szalai; her children, Emma, Julia (Dan), and Adam; her siblings, Shelley Foy (Andy), Emile Cote, and Clara Cote; brother-in-law, Matt Szalai (Sue); nieces and nephews, Andrea, Alyssa (Ivan), Savanna (James), Shane (Jason), and Krystal; several great nieces and nephews; and all the great friends who she loved dearly.
Lucille was predeceased by her parents Bernadette Mullin and Lucien Cote, and brother Andrew Cote.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday, March 16th and after 10am Friday).
Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Friday, March 17th, 2023 at 11am. Cremation with entombment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
