Obituary for Rose Ann O'Connor (O'Conner)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Rose-Ann (O’Connor) Sheehan, announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023, at Health Sciences North, in Sudbury. She was 67 years. Rose-Ann loved her family with all of heart and was the most genuine and thoughtful friend. She left too soon, leaving a great void in all of the lives that she touched. She was an amazing cook, and loved preparing meals for her family and friends, her kitchen was a place that much time was spent gathering and celebrating. Starting in the Spring and well into the Fall, you could often find her in the backyard tending to her beautiful gardens which she took so much pride in, it was without a doubt her happy place. Travelling to Florida a couple times a year, with her husband Tony, were adventures that gave her great joy, she always came back glowing and rejuvenated.

Beloved wife of Anthony “Tony” Sheehan. Loving mother of Tammy Squires, Tricia Squires, and Crystal Squires. Cherished grandmother of Joseph (predeceased), Mariah, Vanessa, Hannah, Seth, Sebastien, and Liam. She was also an adoring great-grandmother to Avery, Isaiah, Ariya, Koda, Evalynn, Elijah, and Lennon. Predeceased by her mother Molly Sarazin and her father Gerald Bernier. Dear sister to Iris O’Connor, Richard Latvala, predeceased by brothers Patrick O’Connor, and Thomas O’Connor. Daughter-in-law to Betty Sheehan, sister-in-law to Vivian Lesco(nee Sheehan), Jeff, and Bruce Sheehan. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved so dearly.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Ukrainian Centre, 30 Notre Dame Ave, Sudbury, Sunday, February 19th, 2023 from 2-4 pm.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
