He was very active in the Polish Community in Sudbury at St. Casimir's Church and the Polish Club where he served as President and on the executive for many decades and extremely proud of his Polish heritage. He was especially proud to raise the Polish flag on the Bridge of Nations during the bridge commemoration and was a friend to many. As a result of his commitment in promoting and preserving Polish culture, Henryk was awarded the Polish "Golden Service Cross" medal by the Polish Ambassador to Canada in 2018. He enjoyed summers with the family at the cottage on Manitoulin lsland, loved gardening and nurturing his wife's flowers. His passion was singing and was a member of the church choir. He was a handy man that could fix anything. He and his wife worked hard in holding the family together by celebrating every family milestone moment in life. The family will miss him dearly but know that he is now peacefully resting.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at Pioneer Manor for their kindness and care over the past three years.
