Louise Claire Merrill, age 55 of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Louise was born on October 21, 1967, in Sudbury, Ontario to Marcel Meilleur and Francoise (Prevost) Meilleur, both predeceased. She is also predeceased by her partner Joey McPeters in 2022. Louise enjoyed socializing with friends and relatives and enjoyed a good party! Louise loved to go camping and enjoyed playing slow-pitch baseball when she lived in Canada. Louise moved to the USA in 1996 and resided there until her passing and was loved by her little dog Meatballs. Left to cherish her memory are her two beautiful children Willow and Derek both of Missouri, her sister Linda (Jordan), her brother Marc (Dorothy-Ann), her nephews Daniel (Zoya) and Joel (Jennie) and great-nephews Daxton, Zayden, Bradley, and great-niece Chloe, her uncles, aunts, cousins, high school friends, all from Canada. Louise, the sun will shine, the rain will fall, but your memory will always stay with us all and in our hearts, you will hold a place where no one else will ever fill. Love you. Rest in Peace!
There will be a Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2pm. (Friends may gather after 12noon Monday, February 6, 2023). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
