Obituary for Theresa Mary Marion (Hanley)
In Loving Memory of Theresa Mary (nee Hanley) Marion, 95 years, who passed peacefully Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Beloved wife of Maurice Marion (predeceased 1994). Loving mother of Lynda Snyder, Eric (both predeceased), Gregory (Sue), Louise LeBlanc (Bob), Mike (Marilyn), Sandra McKenzie, Maureen McLean (Paul), Robert, Donna Corletto (predeceased) Norm, Debbie Fournier (Peter predeceased), James (Liz), Maurice (Anne), and Theresa Chenier (Andy). Beloved grandmother of 26 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren (Braeden predeceased), and 7 great-great grandchildren. Cherished daughter of John and Mildred (nee King) Hanley. Dear sister of Jack, Arthur, Cecelia, Kathleen, Tommy, Louise, Pat, Michael(deceased,) Francis, Judy, and Joe. She is loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Theresa had a wonderful sense of humour and loved a good joke. She loved to play cards, games and horseshoes and played to win (which she usually did). Theresa was happiest when she was surrounded by her loving family.
Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 223 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call from 2-4; 6-8PM Tuesday) with funeral prayers at 1:45PM Tuesday.
Funeral Mass in St. Pius X Church, Lively, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 10AM. Cremation with interment in the family plot at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to World Vision or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
