Obituary for Lambros Mitsopoulos
In Loving Memory of Lambros Mitsopoulos, 95 years, passed peacefully Sunday January 15, 2023 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Maria (Tremintzou) Mitsopoulos predeceased 2007. Loving father of Tanasis and Yannis (wife Catherine Daniel). Cherished son of Yannis and Olympia (Lolas) Mitsopoulos predeceased. Loving brother of Tanasis predeceased, Meltis (wife Perry) both predeceased, Peter (wife Rita), and Eddy (wife Thomai). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Lambros will be remembered as a very warm-hearted and social man who was loved by all. His favourite saying was “when the sun arises it arises for everyone.”
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre or the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
Funeral Service in the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 486 Ester Rd., Sudbury, Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at 11am.
Interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery. (Friends may call at the church after 10am Saturday) No funeral visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home.
