Obituary for Michèle Elaine Smethurst (Foster)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michèle Smethurst (née Foster) on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at the age of 59.
She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 39 years, Ted. Michèle will be sadly missed by her children Stéphanie Smethurst (Billy Gridley), and Kevin Smethurst, her parents Glen and Françoise Foster (nee Chouinard), as well as her siblings David Foster (Lise), and Jo-Ann Foster (Dale). She will also be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Michèle would light up a room when she walked in. Her humour and wit will live on in the many memories she has left us. She truly enjoyed life especially at the cottage where she loved to garden.
The family would like to thank the many Doctors and Nurses who cared for her.
A Celebration of Life to honour Michèle will take place at a later date.
