Obituary for Chris Yvonne Marcotte (Lajeunesse)
In loving memory of Chris Marcotte (nee Chuby) 70 years. It is with broken hearts we announce her unexpected passing at her residence on Saturday, December 24th, 2022.
Beloved wife and best friend of 30 years to Gerry Marcotte. Loving mother of Tammy Balasa (Chris), Chantal Nelson (Alain Sauve), and Michael Thomson. Step mother of Yves Marcotte and mother-in-law of Steven Nelson. Cherished grandmother of Joshua Balasa, Rebecca Balasa, Nicholas Nelson (Tara), and Brady Nelson (Jaden). Predeceased by her parents Michael Chuby and Lucille St. Amour (nee Lajeunesse) and her sister Velma Herbert. Survived by her sister Angela Eagan. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many family and friends, and especially her precious Shitzu puppy Teddy, who she adored.
Visitation at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Monday, January 2nd, 2023 from 12pm-3pm, followed by a service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at 3 pm. For those unable to attend in person, the service can be viewed via livestream at
