Obituary for Ronson Morley Patrick

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our beloved Dad and cherished grandfather. Ronson Patrick, aka Ron, Pat, Uncle Pat or John, was born February 19th 1941 in Echo Bay, and passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Health Sciences North Sudbury, in his 82nd year on Friday December 16th. Predeceased by his loving wife Sandi and his parents, Charles and Grace Patrick. Ron will be dearly missed by his two sons Scott (Jenn) and Sean (Tina), and his cherished granddaughter Molly. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Craig (Phyllis), Marvin (Leona), Anita (Gordon), Jackie (Marcel) and Blair, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ron and Sandi spent much of their free time and holidays with Sandi’s sister Judi Cundari (predeceased) and husband Sam, and their children Angela (Randy) and Stephanie (Patrick) and David (Brittany). Ron’s passing leaves an immense hole in our hearts, including that of his dearest companion Buddy, his Golden Retriever. Ron enjoyed many things, including golfing, playing darts, shopping at Smith’s market and wintering in Florida when Sandi was still with us. A special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and support staff in the ICU for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences North Foundation will be gratefully appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The family will host a celebration of Ron’s life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
