Obituary for Dail Hand

HAND, Dail Reid

Born: June 18, 1939 in Hamilton, ON. Son of Julian (Bud) and Christina (Ferris) Hand, both predeceased. Brother to Wayne, predeceased (wife Arlene) of Kamloops BC.

Dail went home to be with the Lord at the age of 83 on December 10 th. 2022 in Sudbury Ontario. He leaves behind his best friend and the love of his life wife Pauline of 41 years and step children Daniel (Jody) and Kimberley (Kevin).

Previously married to Lorraine, predeceased (Leaver) and together had 3 children leaving behind Deborah-Ann (Jonas predeceased), David, Brenda (Bill).

He will be remembered by many grand-children, nieces and nephews.

He started his career as Deputy Chief of Operations for Ministry of Lands and Forest for 10 years and later 33 years with INCO (Vale) in Sudbury ON. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling and his favourite place was Australia. An avid reader, he was envied by others for the many books he read.

You were more than a husband you were my best friend. Ours was a great love story that we will continue together some day. When we meet again, I shall hold you in my arms and never let you go.

Per his wishes there will be no funeral service. A gravesite burial will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery Lively, at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to the Park lawn Crematorium.
