Obituary for Alexander "Alex" Jacob Konner

In loving memory of Alexander "Alex" Konner 65 years, who passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022.

Alex was predeceased by his father and mother, Kenneth and Eugenia Just. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 44 years Heather (nee Jessop) and his cherished daughter Trista-anne. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Favaro (husband Louis) and his brother-in-law John Jessop (wife Marcia). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Special mention goes out to three people that were very important in his life; Rollie predeceased, who was his first boss and mentor, Marco, his best friend and go to guy, and his mother-in-law Christine predeceased, with whom he had a very special bond.

Alex loved all animals, but his little Bean Bean (Morkie girl) was his side kick and the two of them were inseparable. He also loved his four crazy cats: Missy, Tigger, Bandee, and Ebony. Alex was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan but grew up in Sudbury where he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Class A Mechanic. He loved his trade, and was well liked and respected. At the age of 59 he went back to school, (Cambrian College) and made the Dean’s List at the age of 64! He was always a fighter and faced challenges head on.

Alex, you had to leave me and but you forgot to tell my heart how to live without you. You don't cross my mind; you live in it. I love you xoxo

I miss and love you poosie and will never forget you. You were the best father any daughter could of have asked for! - Trista xoxo
