Obituary for Lenore Leroux (McDonald)

It is with great sadness that the family of Lenore announce her passing on Saturday. December 3rd, at the age of 84.
Lenore was born to Thomas and Laura McDonald (nee Gaudette) both predeceased and was married to her husband, Omer Leroux predeceased.
She will be dearly missed by her sons, Michael, and Mark.
Sister to Eldon, Vern, Leland (Denise predeceased), Anita (Ron predeceased), Lorna (Ron predeceased), Arden (Danielle) and Brian (Mary Ellen).
Sister-in-law to Jeannette Dube (Marc), Mabel (Tommy predeceased), Arthur (Joanne), Ray predeceased (Bev), Albert (Lucie), and Yvette (predeceased.
Lenore will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lenore worked at Pioneer Manor for 30 years, volunteered at Holy Redeemer Church, and loved spending her summer weekends at the camp with her "boys".
She often enjoyed watching the Blue Jays ball games on TV (especially when they won), a cold beer on a Friday night with pizza and her Saturday night Dairy Queen. She cherished family times filled with laughter with her sons, brothers and sisters and weekly lunches with her sisters-in-law.
The family is sincerely thankful to her sisters-in-law, Jeannette, and Mabel, for their continued support and friendship and wishes to send a special thank you to the caring staff at Pioneer Manor (Lodge 1 and front desk) for their care and compassion.
Memorial Mass at the Holy Redeemer Church, (1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury), Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 11:30 am. Cremation with interment in the family plot in the Civic Cemetery. Friends may gather after 11:15am Friday. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
