Monday, November 14th, 2022 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved husband of Susan Dominelli (Marcotte) predeceased. Loving father of Cathy (Dan Hayden), Maria (Brent Vaillancourt), and Stephanie (Joe Toffoli). Cherished Nono of Catena, Julia, Ella, Becca, Peyton and Christopher. Dear son of Cosimo and Maria Dominelli (Bonazza) both predeceased. Dear brother of Rosie (Orlando Schiafone predeceased), Carmela (Evelino Pierobon predeceased), Vince predeceased, Bruno predeceased (Marilyn), and Fernando. Dear son in law of Red and Rita Marcotte (Chellew). Dear brother in law of Gloria (Michael Corrigan), Robert, Larry (Sharon), Bruce and Andrew predeceased (Carole). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Frank was born in Serra San Bruno, Italy and came to Canada in 1956. He was an avid gardener, taking pride in his zucchini flowers which he would pick each morning. Cooking his famous pizza and bread for his family and friends was always a source of excitement. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, spoiling them with love, watermelon candies and “funny” money. Frank will be remembered for his strength, fighting spirit and his tell tale smirk.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on 7 North and CMU at HSN for all their wonderful care and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. L. Hartford.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street at Hazel, Sudbury. Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9pm Thursday, November 17, 2022 with prayers at 3pm.
Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury, Friday, November 18 at 10:30am.
Interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences North Cardiac Unit or the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer would be appreciated.
