Our beloved matriarch has taken her seat with the choir of angels. Loving wife of Lennis “Len” Hickey (predeceased) of Onaping. Proud mother of Janice (Brent Farrow), Elizabeth “Beth” (Alistair McTurk, predeceased), Patricia “Patti” (predeceased) (Norman Reid), Maureen (David Kambich), Michael (Jennifer), Joel (Brenda), Timothy “Tim” (Lynne), Christine (predeceased). Dear grandmother of Sheena, Erin (Dave), Nathan (Courtney), Elspeth, Arielle, Matthew (Ashley), Caitlin, Simon, Christopher (Katie), Jordan, Heather, Adam, Daniel, David, Ben and Milana. Great grandmother to Avery, Braeden, Aislinn, Owen, Lenna, Hailey, Cooper, Ethan and Olivia. Dear daughter of Charles Doyle and Agnes Guirey (predeceased). Dear sister of Noreen (Tom McKay), Bernice “Bunny” (Joe McGratton), Jean (Joe Marchand), Margie (George Paquin), Anita (Lionel Tallon), Evelyn (Frank Dack), Charles (Monet) (all predeceased). Helen was a devout Catholic and long time member of the CWL. She was known for her strength and independent spirit. Helen was happiest when playing piano, playing bridge, sewing, cooking, baking for her family, vacationing in Florida and in later years painting. Special thanks to her second family at St. Gabriel’s Villa (Whitewater) for the care given to her in her last 7 years. Your love for our feisty Mom will never be forgotten.

Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Friday, November 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Onaping Falls Branch 503, 3 St. James St, Onaping. Interment in the family plot at Maplecrest Cemetery. No funeral home visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Gabriel’s Villa or St. Bartholomew’s Church would be appreciated.
