Obituary for William Tanos
In loving memory of William Tanos 70 years. Beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather. Passed away at Health Sciences North on Monday, October 31st, 2022. He leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Margaret, son Sēan (Kyria), and their son Henry, and son Liam (Melissa), and their children Crosby and Sadie. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Olymbia Tanos. Survived by his sister Julie Precious (Randy), and their children Jason, Mathew and Jeffrey, predeceased by brother-in-law Robert McCalmont, survived by his sister-in-law Susan Robson, and brother-in-law John McCalmont (Robin), and her three sons.
William worked for over 39 years at the City of Greater Sudbury retiring as head of GIS Services. He leaves behind many friends. Much thanks to Dr. R. Singh, Dr, Jani, Dr. Carlson and Dr. Kutchtaruk. Thanks to the staff of 4N for their compassionate and professional care. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation – Cancer Center would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
