In loving memory of Maria Iolanda (D’Ambros) Covre, 96 years. Passed peacefully Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at Extendicare Falconbridge. Beloved wife of Antonio Covre predeceased. Loving mother of Rose (Patrick Bourre) and Edda (Bruno Mazza). Cherished Nonni of Lucia (Konrad), Dante (Janine), Adam, Stefano, Laura, and Filippo. Dear daughter of Giovanni and Filomena D’Ambros both predeceased. Dear sister of Guerina and Lino both predeceased. Born in Belluno, Italy, she married Antonio in 1958. Maria will always be remembered by all who knew her for her infectious laugh and wicked sense of humour. Her greatest joy came in sharing a meal with her grandchildren. Many thanks go out to the P.S.W.’s on Third Floor East at Extendicare Falconbridge who became her second family.

Funeral visitation in the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call 4pm to 6pm Sunday.) Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury, on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at 10am. Interment in the Lasalle Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
