Obituary for Jeanette Agnes Dubois

Perhaps one of the most loving, nurturing, selfless and kindest soul you will ever meet. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette Dubois (nee Legault). Beloved wife of Maurice Dubois. Loving mother of Monique Baronette (Victor), Lynn Dubois (Stephen Fasciano) and Claudette Giroux (Daniel). Cherished grandmother of Ashley Baronette (Cory Hannon), Alexandre Baronette (Danika Diotte), Damien Giroux (Ryllie Tryon) and Zacharie Giroux. Dear daughter of Armand and Lucienne (née Labelle) Legault both predeceased. Dear sister of Mederic Legault predeceased (Alice), Julien Legault predeceased (Rita), Gerard predeceased (Helene), Paul predeceased (Fernande), Marie-Ange Landry (Jean-Baptise), Solange Audette (Paul-Emile), Jacques Legault (Lorraine) and cherished twin Annette Pitcher (Pete). She was a wife, a mother, and the most loving grandmother on earth. Her devotion and her love for her family and friends was observed and felt by all those around her. She showed her love through her actions, whether it be in the kitchen preparing meals or making her famous desserts. She enjoyed her life at camp, the place she called HOME. She would spend her time in her garden, refilling the hummingbird feeders, but most of all spoiling her husband, her girls, and her grandchildren. Small but mighty, Jeannette could make all your troubles go away with one simple hug. That hug left you feeling like you never wanted to let go because of the comfort she provided. Oh, how we would love to get one more hug. She loved reuniting her family around the table to play cards, especially crib with her grandchildren. Although Jeannette’s life ended before we were ready, the time that she spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy. We want to honor her love of life with a memorial where all emotions are welcomed and encouraged. Come with your pictures or words to share on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, at Lougheed Funeral Home Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer.
