Obituary for Rein Kiilaspa

In loving memory of Rein Kiilaspa born October 22, 1937, in Viljandi, Estonia.
Rein came to Canada in 1949 at age 11 years old with his parents. They settled in Falconbridge, Ontario.
Dear son of Asta Mary and William (Willy) Kiilaspa (predeceased).
Beloved husband of June Wilson for over 25 years (predeceased in 2008).
Brother-in-law of Richard Wilson and Carole Landon. Uncle of Holly, Robb and Leigh with several great nieces and nephews.
Rein was employed by Falconbridge Nickel Mine as Safety Supervisor and worked in many departments for 30 years.
He was trained in Mine Rescue, First Aid and Supervisory Management. In his job he travelled to Manitoba, Montana, U.S. and Ghana, South Africa. He retired in 1974 and spent many summers at their camp on the French River, fishing and visiting with relatives.
In memory of Rein, donations can be made to St. Stephens on the Hill church.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call after 11am, Monday) Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Monday, September 26, 2022, at 12pm. Interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery, Sudbury.
