In loving memory of Ida Annie St. George (nee Samuel) who passed away on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 at Extendicare York at the age 91. Beloved wife of Emanuel “Sam” St. George predeceased 2008. Loving mother of Theresa Ullett (Bruce), Pauline Menard predeceased (Bill), Richard St. George (Cheryl), Diane St. George, Roger St. George (Liliane) and Raymond St. George (Shauna). Cherished grandmother of Christina, Sandra, Lynn predeceased, Tracy, Lisa, Samantha, Nicholas, Adam and Brayden and great grandmother of Cody, Alysa, Koal, Alexis, Chloe, Emma, Abigail, Rylan, Adam, Geneviève and Jacob. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Elizabeth (Ramsey) Samuel and siblings Hilda, Josephine Alfred and Ernest. Ida was a great woman of faith belonging to the CWL for many years. In her spare time she loved to play bingo, bowled for 50 years and do her puzzles out by the woodstove with a cup of tea. Many will remember her from het time working at The Villager Restaurant. Ida was the happiest when surrounded by her family and leaves a rich legacy of love and compassion.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Kevin’s Church, Val Therese on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022 at 11am. Friends may gather at the church after 10:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Homes.
