We are sad to announce that our Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother has passed away peacefully on June 12 and will be reunited with her husband, Tom (predeceased 2014).
Dear Mother of Michael (Kathy), Greg (Dawn).Loving Grandmother to Kayla (Andrew), Mathew, Jeffrey (Sarah), Jordan, and Joel. Great- grandmother to Nellie, Willow, Hannah, Scarlet and Sister to Ray (Noreen) predeceased.
Patricia was a wonderful mother and wife she was very loving and dedicated to raising her family. In the early years there were countless baseball and hockey games which included out of town tournaments where she was the biggest fan. Summer was baseball season Patricia would keep score and when she could convince him, Tom would be backup umpire. Winter was hockey season and Tom was a convener for Copper Cliff Minor hockey and Patricia was a member of the ladies auxiliary, who held fundraisers to support minor hockey many hours were spent at the local arenas.
Summer holidays included many camping and fishing trips with friends and family, these trips were great fun and created many cherished memories.
Patricia enjoyed working at the local Kwik-Way and after retiring her and Tom moved to Manitoulin Island were they made many new friends. Patricia loved to knit and made many items over the years generously handing them out to family, friends and charities when hunting season came around her Orange Dickies were a prized gift.
Her favourite times were when her family came to visit in Kagawong lots of outdoor fun and great meals.
After Tom’s passing Patricia moved back to Copper Cliff where she grew up, she loved to be back home and close to family. She lived her final days at the Maison McCulloch Hospice where she passed peacefully. We would like to thank everyone one at the hospice for the great care and compassion they give and ask that anyone wishing to make donations to give to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
Patricia will be interred with her husband in Kagawong Cedars Cemetery on a date to be determined.
Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
