It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing
of
Michelle Marie Lise Jenkinson
(nee Gervais)
69 Years
who passed at her residence on Monday, May 9th, 2022,
with her loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of Gordon Jenkinson for over 48 years. Cherished mother of Chris Jenkinson, Craig Jenkinson (Melanie), Lee Jenkinson (Kristal) and Maggie Jenkinson- Chaine (Larry). Treasured grandma of Hailey, Abigale, Lawrence, Charlise and Jack. Dear daughter of Armand and Germaine (both predeceased). Yvan Gervais (predeceased), Lilianne Zilliotto (Edward predeceased), Raymonde Fong (Al), Robert Gervais (Caroline), Denise Paradis (Cleo), Richard Gervais (Judy), Ron Gervais (Wendy). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Michelle could often be found hovering over a jig-saw puzzle and loved crosswords. She was very involved in her community with both the church and spiritual care. She was a 10-year volunteer with VCARS and worked at the Hospital as the chaplain for 10 years. Michelle volunteered at the food bank, the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store and was a diocesan order of women mandated in 1989. She loved meeting her extended family, les Trepanier at golf tournaments and family gatherings. She enjoyed camping at Providence Bay with our Island Friends. Michelle always enjoyed the company of our church family at St. Kevin’s.
The family would like to thank Karen M, Wendy G and Barb B who accompanied Michelle with grace, kindness, and love in her final moments.
