Obituary for Beverly "Bev" Godson (Moreton)
March 12, 1947 - April 30, 2022
Peacefully surrounded by her son and daughter, it is with great sadness that the family of Beverly (Bev) Godson announce her passing.
Predeceased by her husband, Dudley Godson, Mother Hilda Moreton and Father John Moreton. The family takes comfort in knowing she can be with them again and have some peace in her heart.
She will be lovingly missed by her children; Darren (Alice) Godson and Tanya (David) Wall, sister Donna Howell, niece Cindy (Paul Mercer) Godin and nephew Michael (Joyce Greenslade) Godin, great nephews Tristan Mercer and Dylan Mercer and grandchildren Sawyer Wall, Colton Wall, Lily Godson and Jeremy Godson.
Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Diana (Jim) Hester and Marilyn (Jack) Hudson along with many nieces and nephews in the U.S and in England.
Forever held in the hearts of her cherished friends; Bev's best friend from childhood, Marlene Lee, and dear friends Maureen (Chris) Bignell, Tom (Mary) Kent and Carrol (Rick) Newcombe.
In keeping with Bev's wishes, a private family service will be held.
The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at Extendicare York in Sudbury for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a donation in Beverly's name, may do so to the Ontario Humane Society.
