Obituary for Antonio Ieropoli

Antonio Ieropoli
February 1, 1930 – March 11, 2022
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Antonio Ieropoli on March 11, 2022 at Health Sciences North at the age of 92.
Antonio leaves behind his beloved, devoted wife of 60 years Domenica (Polifroni). Loved by sons and daughters-in-law; Filippo (Kerri), Rocco, Nicola (Heather), and Tracey (Marc). Beloved nonno/papa to Antonio (Kym), Sarah, Cameron, and Michael. Antonio was brother to Antonia (predeceased), Nicola (predeceased), and Lina (predeceased). He will be remembered as kind, welcoming, and smiling by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Antonio was born in Cimina, Italy where he met and married Domenica. Together they immigrated to Sudbury in 1967 to reunite with many family members that were already settled here. Antonio loved fishing and tending to his garden. He and Domenica also enjoyed dancing at the Caruso Club where they had many fun times with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
