It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son Andrew James Welch (AJ). Beloved son of Leanne (Wayne Leblanc) and Doug (Leanne Brownlee). He will be forever missed by his loving sister Jenna Marie and stepbrother Randy Leblanc. Cherished grandson of Bob and Marnie Lloyd (both predeceased) and Jack and Shirley Welch (both predeceased). He will be missed by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Left to grieve are his best buds; Stu, Shane, Hugh, Nick, Cory and Zach.
Garth, as most of his friends called him was always the life of the party and always made his friends and acquaintances laugh with his quick wit and humour. His love of music made him pursue mixing and producing and enjoyed sharing it with D.J.’s all around the world. Growing up Andrew enjoyed racing sleds, and driving anything that had a motor. He also liked attending races with his Dad because of the people he met and the camaraderie he felt when he was at any race track. Andrew loved to spend time at the family camps on Lake Penage and Kagawong on Manitoulin Island.
Andrew will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will be missed but never forgotten. We love you bud, never saying good bye but see you later.
A celebration of his life will be a held at a later date.
