Families always remember aunts and uncles but are so busy with their own lives that we rarely take the time to visit one another. Before covid 19 hit the world I had the opportunity to visit Aunt Filomena in her home and receive a history lesson about our family. What life was like on Ponza. The challenges during the war. How it came to be that they all came to Sudbury for a better future and a new prosperous life. Aunt Filomena had a wealth of knowledge and was happy to share. It was a great pleasure spending the time with her and at the same time took me back to when I was a young boy visiting her and Uncle Tony's with my parents. Thank you Aunt Filomena for the memories. God bless and may you rest in peace. Love Gennaro

My deepest condolences to the entire family. She was a beautiful wonderful woman that has given me along with everyone that knew her memories that will last forever. My mother was very close to her and she was part of our family's lives while growing up. She was one great baker and I still use her recipes. Those browny cookies with the hazelnuts.....lol
Rest in piece sweet angel.
