Obituary for Stanley Keefe

Stanley Wellington Keefe
March 7,1948 – March 29,2021

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Stan on March 29th, 2021.
Stan was not a healthy man but he was stubborn and fought hard for many years to stay with his family as long as he could. He was very passionate and his family was everything to him. He loved his wife, daughter and grandkids more than words can express.
He will forever live on in the hearts of his wife of 53 amazing years Marlene, his daughter Tanya (Johnny) and his grandchildren Blake and Khloe.
Stan loved camping and outdoor adventures with Marlene. They shared many memories and campfires with great friends over the years. Most recently Stan's dream of having property on Manitoulin Island finally came true and provided them with the perfect place to unwind. They also loved just jumping in the car with a picnic lunch on a beautiful day and driving on an adventure to find the perfect, scenic spot to enjoy it. Marlene meant the world to him and he still called her the most beautiful and incredible woman he knew. Their love was truly an inspiration.
Stan adored his grandchildren Blake and Khloe. He had a very special “best friend” bond with his grandson Blake. He would tell Blake stories for hours and try to instill knowledge and skills to help him throughout life. They were hunting and fishing buddies… he was Papa’s sidekick.
Stan would do almost anything for Khloe including selfies, singing silly songs, letting Khloe style his hair and playing toys with her because “he was so funny and did all the best voices”.
As their only child, Stan made sure Tanya grew up like a lady but could also quad, check the oil in her car, and not be too scared to bait her own hook. He was proud of her as a nurse, daughter and mother and often seeked her advice when something was on his mind. They were so much alike.
Stan loved fishing, hunting and playing snooker. Through these pastimes he developed amazing friendships along the way. He was lucky to have great friends he could always count on.
Stan was loved so much and will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives.
‘Never forgotten.. always in our hearts.’
At his request, no funeral services will be held.
Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
