In loving memory of Norma (Michelutti) Lorenzini, 98 years of Sudbury who passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at the Extendicare York. Born in San Daniele del Friuli, Udine, Italy. Beloved wife of 67 years of Livio Lorenzini predeceased 2013. Loving mother of Giancarlo “John”, Paul predeceased, Claudio predeceased (wife Sue of Bracebridge) and Sandra (husband Roy Manning) of Sudbury. Proud Nonna of 5 grandchildren and Bis-Nonna of 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ines and predeceased by Yolanda, Alcea, Noemi and Renzo (wife Anita of Sudbury). Sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She came to Sudbury in 1958 from Italy. A devoted Roman Catholic, she belonged to Our Lady of Hope Church and was a member of the CWL. She was a well-established seamstress in Sudbury for many years. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Extendicare York, the homecare team and Dr. De Blacam. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, on Monday, March 8th, 2021 at 11am. (Friends may call after 10am Monday). Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Due to the COVID-19 directives, 50 people or less in our chapel.
