Obituary for Norma Jeanne Clement (Ceppetelli)

Norma Jeanne Clement (nee Ceppetelli)
On the evening of Tuesday March 2nd, the dearly departed before her, summoned their angel-in-waiting home to Heaven. Surrounded by love, comfort and family, Norma set sail on the adventure of a lifetime. Her worries of illness were to be no more. A life most beautiful and accomplished as hers is to be celebrated and admired. One should only be so lucky to have a wife, a mother, a sister or a friend so wonderful as she. Those that had her in her life in any capacity were indeed truly blessed. A lifetime of hard work and business success helped Norma to raise the family she was so passionate of and devoted to. Born in Sudbury (Gatchell) in 1948, Norma and her family worked tirelessly at building a local family business. Together, their diligent ways brought Sudbury a level of hospitality and entertainment that was often imitated but truly never duplicated. Whether it was tending to the store at Quality Foods, tending to guests at The Four Sisters or ultimately hosting you at The Ambassador Hotel for over 50 years, nobody did it better. A perfectionist through and through, there was never a Wedding or Christmas décor item out of place with Norma at the helm. She was truly a pioneer female business leader and Icon. Forever with a smile, a hug and a special caring way, Norma lit up any room that she entered, and you just knew she was someone special. Norma will be dearly missed but her gentle ways will never be forgotten. Beloved wife of Richard Clement. Loving mother of Michael Clement and Laura Clement and her special four-legged best buddy Charlie. Dear daughter of Aduito (Al) and Loretta Ceppetelli (nee Galardo) both predeceased. Precious sister of Carol Czerwinec (husband Bill predeceased), Elisa Marconi (husband Larry) and Beverly Jones (husband Robert). She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, a large extended family and so many kind friends. Special thanks to her incredible medical team; Dr. Andrew Pearce, Dr. Ashima Bansal, Dr. Shauna Smith, Dr. Lacey Pitre, and Dr. Killian James De Blacam who always worked so caringly with mom. Our community is truly fortunate to be amongst your care. While preparing for her departure to peace and happiness, Norma was in the most gracious care of the wonderful nurses at Health Sciences North on 6 South. Ladies, your ways will never be forgotten, and you are to be commended for your grace in service and your tireless efforts to keep mom comforted and tended to. Our hearts truly go out to you all. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Centre or the Neo Kids Foundation would be appreciated. As per her wishes, there will be no funeral visitation or formal service to allow for private family reflection and healing. For donations or messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
My mom is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. – Graycie Harmon
