In loving memory of Florence “Flora” Guido (nee Fiorino), 80 years who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved wife to Antonio “Tony” Guido predeceased 2016. Loving mother of Joe (Mailiis), Frank (Nicole), Gerry (Anita) and Carlo (Cathy). Cherished Nonna of Philip (Ashley), Jill-Marie (Julien), Anthony (Kathy), John (Julia), Sierra (Anthony) and Aldo (Kristen) and great grandchildren Dexter and Linus. Dear daughter of Giuseppe and Laura Fiorino both predeceased. Dear sister of Rosina Bruno (Eugenio predeceased), Maria Cerilli (Albert predeceased), Lisa Ricci (Luigi) and Gabriel Fiorino (Rose). Flora was born on March 20, 1940 in Dipignano Laurignano, Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada. She will be remembered as a very generous person with a heart of gold who was always quick to help others. She was an excellent cook who thoroughly enjoyed hosting delicious family dinners. Her hospitality was appreciated by all visitors travelling through Sudbury. The focus of her life was her family especially being a dedicated wife and caregiver to her beloved husband. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff at Amberwood Suites and the 4th floor (Palliative Care Unit) at Health Sciences North for their excellent care and support.
