Our families were close through the years, in fact when I was little I thought we were related. I enjoyed our chats on the phone and will miss them. You were always so kind to everyone and those of us who were fortunate to have you spend some time in our lives were truly blessed. I will miss you. My sympathies to your family and friends.

It’s not easy to say goodbye to my dear friend, mentor and confidante. I have no other friend who has known me since the day I was born and this is what made our friendship so special. You were always there for me and I love you for that. We worked together next to each other in the same office for many years. You said that you did not do a good job mentoring me because of the long hours I continued to work but you taught me more than that. You taught me dedication, loyalty, ambition, and to do the best that I could and for that I thank you. You played a big role in making me the person I am today from the guidance and advice you provided.
I will always remember the great times and all the memories we shared, good and bad. I remember the time we registered for a night course in computer programming in error. We struggled to get our programs to work for the Christmas trees to flash on our screens. We didn’t even know how to use a computer at the time. We had our trusty little typewriters with a corrector ribbon and carbon paper.
You were always there for me, my support mechanism, and my memories of the times we shared will last forever in my heart. You made the best nanaimo bars.
I know that there is peace where you are and that there were so many loved ones on your side and mine (Forteski) who were waiting for you with open arms.
I will always hear your laughter when I showed you the picture of you holding the stuffed toy. This has always been one of my favorite photos. I remember you telling me that you had wanted to be a nurse but you were not able to because of your size. This showed how you always cared about people and you were always there to help. In a way, your dream did come true. You were a nurse to everyone in one way or another by all of the caring you provided to those around you.
It is not easy to say goodbye to a very special person and a dear friend. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dearest Vicki, we have such a small family that it is always such a loss to lose a member. Vicki was the one we could always count on to nurture the rest of the family and friends. We will truly miss you and will keep you in our prayers and thoughts every day. Vicki, you will be missed by everyone who you came in contact with. Faye and Don Jaworski and family.
