Born on December 16, 1932 in Tusket, Nova Scotia and raised in Yarmouth, Barbara moved to Coniston with her husband Clarence in 1951 where they raised their family. Barbara will be remembered for her infectious laugh and sense of humour. She loved to reminisce and relate stories. She was also an avid card player and spent countless hours with family and friends playing cribbage and other games. She was a vocal and ardent supporter of her children at every track meet, hockey and baseball game she could attend. After the children had grown, she enjoyed working many years at Zellers, where because of her bubbly personality she was recruited on occasion to dress up in costumes to entertain the children. In her later years she enjoyed time spent gardening.

The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor at HSN for their tender loving care.
