Obituary for Delbert Andress

Delbert Nolan Andress
April 8th 1961

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Delbert Nolan Andress on January 28th surrounded by his family. Son of Noble and Noella (nee Landriault) both predeceased. Loving husband of Anne Andress (Robinson), father of Elizabeth Andress, Kaitlyn Andress, Peter Fenton, and grandfather of Sebastian Nolan. Delbert is survived by his brothers Edward, James, Martin, and William. Delbert will be greatly missed by his many cousins who reside in both Canada and the United States. He will also be deeply missed by those of which he kept the front door open for and called his own as well as by his favourite top 5.
Delbert will always be remembered for his handcrafted woodwork. As a carpenter and cabinet maker for 35 years, he took great pride in his work and enjoyed the time spent on the jobsite with the crew. Delbert was more than a coworker, he was a teacher and a friend. Although he was a man of few words, when he spoke, he shared his knowledge, wisdom, and taught us all a few life lessons along the way. He always reminded us to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid). Delbert loved to spend his time camping, fishing, and hunting. Many of his favourite memories were made around the fire.
Those who knew him understood that family and friends were the most important thing to him. That is why there is always room for one more kid or one more dog in his home.
As per COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a small service with immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations to S.A.I.N.T.S Animal Rescue would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
