Obituary for Claire Mary Tarini (Picard)

In loving memory of Mary “Claire” Tarini. Born May 27th, 1945 to Katherine and Matthew Picard in Sudbury, Ontario. Claire’s kind, generous, and gentle soul left us suddenly on January 30th, 2021, leaving a hole in the heart of everyone she met. Claire loved the sunshine, reading, and so enjoyed her sweets, but her greatest joy was her family. On July 4th, 2020, Claire celebrated 50 years of marriage to her devoted husband, Carlo. To this day, he shares that it was her selflessness, loving nature, and care for others that drew him to her. Claire absolutely adored her children. They are her greatest source of pride. Her love for them was, and forever will be, fierce and unconditional. Given the opportunity, she would share accomplishments and stories about Rhonda (Dan), Bryan (Michelle), Brent (Krista), and Erin. Claire was proud beyond measure of Matty, Taylor (Gabe), Emma, and Ella - who were all blessed to call her Gramma. Claire was predeceased by her brothers Alan (Eileen) and Ken (Diane). She was incredibly fortunate to spend her remaining years close to her sister Bunny (Tony), who will miss her tremendously. Claire will be dearly missed by family and friends, both here at home, and at her winter retreat in Englewood, Florida.

She will forever be our sunshine. We love you, Gramma.
