It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georgette Soucie on January 28th, 2021 peacefully at Garden City Manor in St. Catharines, Ontario. Wife of the late Russell ‘Buster’ Soucie (1999) and daughter of the late Hector and Rose Emma Laforge. Loving mother of Dan (Anne Marie Malleau), Terry (Rosemary), Debbie Bertulli (Lawrence) and Michael. She is survived by sisters Rachel LaRue, (late Conrad), Jackie Perusini (Jerome), Pierette Bleau (Pat), brother Dennis Laforge (Rose) and pre-deceased by brothers Ron and Larry Laforge. Much loved Granny to ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, Soucie family in-laws and lifelong friends. Georgette will be remembered for her friendly nature and beautiful smile which she shared with family, friends, and many customers of the family businesses she operated with her husband for more than 40 years. A celebration of life will take place at a later date when friends and family can safely gather. Memorial donations can be made to SickKids Foundation or a charity of choice.
