In loving memory of Thomas Cannon Irving, 74 years.
The family announces with much heartfelt sadness his passing on Monday, March 15th, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital – Laurentian Site. Born December 29, 1935 in Perth, ON, loving son of Howard and Frances (Cannon) Irving. Beloved husband of Joan Irving (predeceased). He will be greatly missed by his children; Kimberly of Hanmer, Scott (Sheri) of Prince George, Kevin of Kingston and Robert (Sheri) of Guelph. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Chantelle, Tyson and Courtney. Brother of Edward, Donald, James, Dorthy and Nancy, all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews – (Uncle Tommy). Beloved companion of canine Barney. Dedicated employee of Falconbridge Ltd. with 30 years of service. Participating member of the Mine Rescue Team. Honorable mention – Part of operation at 5 Shaft Cave In, 1982. After retirement, Thomas became involved with CAW Local 598 Retirees. In his younger days, he was very involved with sport organizations, coaching his sons’ hockey and soccer teams.
