Davis Edward Henry Marcoux
The family announces with sorrow. his passing at his home in Sudbury on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Brisebois). Loving father of Clayton and Karri. Dear son of Edward Marcoux and Ethel Marcoux (nee Davis) (both predeceased). Treasured brother of Vic Marcoux (Brenda) and Maggie Snaith (late Dennis). Predeceased by his sisters Shelvie Boivin (late Roy) and Marth Barry (late Mike). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Davis was a retiree from INCO, having worked there for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Kiwanis Club, dedicating many volunteer hours to the community. One of his greatest joys was volunteering at the Kiwanis Music and Dance Festivals, he loved to see the children grow their talents year after year. He enjoyed working at the Salvation Army Summer BBQ’s and brought many of his family and friends out to volunteer with him. Davis had a great love of his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home where friends may gather from 2-5 & 7-9pm Tuesday, May 17th, 2022. Memorial service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 at 11:30am. The service will be streamed at https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1651617911182011
