Obituary for Jerome Dion
In Loving Memory of Jerome Dion, beloved husband of Norma Geauvreau (Petahtegoose) predeceased. Loving Father of Merva predeceased (George), Alex (Darlene), Jim (Darla), Brad (Kelly), Kelly, Amy (Jules), David predeceased, and Tim (Tracey). Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear son of Zoé predeceased and Hugh Honsberger. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Jerome, (Dad, Pépère, Grandpa), was a kind, gentle, fun and caring man. He was a Sandblaster by trade, he enjoyed a good game of pool, and he loved country music and really loved to dance. That’s how he met our Mom, and they truly loved each other for 41 years. They always opened their home, and helped whoever needed a place to stay. Jerome and Mom loved all of us and helped us raise our children, and their grandchildren, and great grandchildren. All our family will truly miss him, but know he is now with our Mom whom he missed dearly when she passed a year before. Jerome really loved his Grandparents; George and Elizabeth Dion whom he often talked about with Love. We will have a celebration of life in the spring. Any donations can be sent to the Infant Food Bank (in Sudbury), to help the children of the future. Arrangements entrusted to Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation Services.
